A metered olive oil ear spray designed to soften earwax in a cleaner and easier way than traditional drops. It is useful before wax removal and for people prone to recurrent dry wax.
Active ingredient | Earol’s current site describes it as a blend of pharmaceutical-grade olive oil and mineral oil. Some retailers describe “olive oil” as the active ingredient, so check the exact label.
How it works | Metered spray coats the ear canal and wax with oil. This moistens, softens and breaks up dry wax, helping natural clearance and making microsuction/irrigation easier. The spray gives a fine dose that can be less messy than drops.
Indications | Earwax softening; preparation for earwax removal; maintenance in people prone to recurrent wax/dry wax; itchy/dry ears where wax dryness is contributing.
Age range | Earol Olive Oil Spray is suitable for children from 12 months old, plus adults and older people.
How to use | Open the canal by gently lifting/pulling the upper ear. Spray 1–2 applications into the affected ear. Massage the tragus/ small bump outside the ear. Apply twice daily for 4–5 days before wax removal, or once weekly for maintenance.
Warnings & precautions | For ear canal use only. Do not spray near eyes, nose or mouth. Avoid if allergic/sensitive to vegetable/mineral oils. Do not use with suspected perforated eardrum, discharge, infection, significant pain, recent ear surgery, or unexplained/sudden hearing loss unless advised. Keep out of reach of children.
