Active ingredients & how it works: Contains pharmaceutical‑grade olive oil as the single active ingredient. The oil penetrates and coats the wax, reducing its hardness and allowing gradual fragmentation and migration out of the ear canal.

Indications: For softening hardened or dry earwax prior to microsuction or irrigation, and for patients prone to recurrent wax build‑up who prefer an oil‑based, non‑effervescent preparation.

Age range: Typically suitable for adults and children (age limits vary slightly by brand and retailer). Use in small children should be under medical or pharmacist supervision.

How to use:

• Warm the bottle in your hand to body temperature before use to reduce dizziness.
• Tilt head so the affected ear faces upwards.
• Instil 2–3 drops into the ear canal without inserting the dropper into the ear.
• Keep the head tilted for a few minutes so the oil can reach the wax plug.
• Gently wipe away any excess oil from the outer ear.
• Use once or twice daily for several days (for example up to 7–14 days) or as specified on the pack prior to wax removal.
• Always follow the PIL otherwise

Warnings & precautions (summary – not exhaustive):

• Olive oil is generally well tolerated, but avoid use if there is known allergy to olive oil or any excipients.
• Do not use if you suspect a perforated eardrum, if there is discharge, or after ear surgery unless advised.
• If pain, marked irritation, or worsening hearing occurs, stop use and seek advice.

As with all oil‑based drops, take care in patients with chronic otitis externa or eczema – consider clinician review first.
